The All-purpose Calibration Tool (ACT) is a PC (personal computer) based software calibration and monitoring tool. ACT is designed specifically for use with engines equipped with the APECS 4000 controller. The tool can be run on any IBM compatible computer that meets the requirements listed in “ACT Installation.” Once the APECS 4000 controller has been programmed, ACT may be disconnected. The APECS 4000 unit will continue to operate normally with ACT either connected or disconnected.
