Scroll dish or Scroll bowl. Steuben design no. 9499; this design was created in 2009 or 2010. The image is of a glass scroll bowl with hand applied scroll detailing. The piece is from The Art of the Scroll Collection. This collection is to honor the 70th Anniversary of the olive dish (7857) with its classic scroll handle, which Steuben first introduced in 1939-40 World's Fair.

Diameter is about 21cm. new in original box.

teuben was founded in 1903 by renowned English glass master Frederick Carder, who named it for the New York State county where the town of Corning is located. In 1918, Steuben (pronounced with the accent on the last syllable) became part of Corning Glass Works, now Corning Incorporated.
